Make sure to read the full version on our forums before applying** What is Exile all about?Exile is a guild primarily oriented around Star Wars: The Old Republic. We are aligned with the Republic. Also, too little is known about how the game will take shape at launch. We value mature members more than game alignment. There's no reason we can't have both factions in-guild, too. We would rather have good folks in the guild then keep them out over class choice. Variety is, after all, the spice of life. Being gamers, we will be playing other games together, as well.GoalsThe goals of this guild are straight forward: equality, freedom, and the maturity to handle both. This guild will not restrict you to a schedule or ask you to put the game before your life. We are here to form a community of friends, as equals, with democracy being the decision making process. There are no ranks within the guild, simply members. As time goes on, information revealed about the game will necessitate changes to how we conduct the guild. We will reshape ourselves as the members desire.Who We AreThis part may sound serious, but we are serious about the high standard of behavior we expect from our members. If you recognize your own personal values in the following, by all means, read on, and apply. We are a humorous lot (at least in our own eyes) and expect members to pack a sense of humor. We are also a generally tolerant lot - part of the maturity required bit - so don't think these rules mean we're a bunch of uptight stuffed shirts waiting to hit people on the forehead with a cult mentality.Simple versionExile is a community based on the precepts of responsible freedom of thought combined with personal maturity. This requires good judgment, respect, integrity, and humility.Applicant Requirements:Only one: 18 or over please with one exception. Maturity is closely tied with experience. Experience is closely tied with age. However, we will consider as young as 16 only if the application demonstrates enough merit as measured against the above. Application Process:1.
